Fall Magna-Tiles Build & Write
This fall-themed packet combines hands-on Magna-Tiles building with handwriting and literacy practice for a fun, engaging OT activity!
The packet includes 7 different fall Magna-Tile build cards. Students look at the model on each card and use Magna-Tiles to recreate the picture. Each build then has two levels of writing pages so you can easily grade the activity for different students.
Level 1 includes a shorter fall-themed sentence along with letter boxes that help students focus on letter size, spacing, placement, and visual-motor organization. Students can then practice writing on the handwriting lines.
Level 2 includes a longer fall-themed passage without letter boxes, giving students more independent handwriting practice and an increased writing challenge.
This packet works on a wide variety of skills, including visual-motor integration, visual perception, spatial awareness, motor planning, problem-solving, fine motor skills, bilateral coordination, copying from a model, handwriting, letter formation, sizing, spacing, line placement, attention, sequencing, and following directions.
The two writing levels make it easy to use the same Magna-Tile activity with students who have different handwriting and academic abilities.
